comment:Opa60 and OpaD proteoliposome pellets contained both NCCM1 and 3, indicating that these Opa proteins retain their ability to interact with both NCCM1 and 3 when recombinantly expressed and reconstituted into liposomes. For NCCM1, weaker bands are observed for Opa50 and OpaTrp compared to Opa60 and OpaD, indicating that there is some non-specific interaction of NCCM1 with the liposomes. For NCCM3, a band is also observed in the pellet with both OpaTrp and Opa50, indicating non-specific interactions are occurring.
